FIRST LOOK: Tuthill GT ONE – Road Legal '90s Le Mans Car!
The Tuthill GT One is a sensational street legal tribute to 1990s Le Mans racing, and only 22 of these all-carbon GT1 homages will be built. Cooler than a GT1 Strassenversion? Possibly. It’s street legal, and for what’s almost certainly a seven-figure sum, you can have one of the few examples that Tuthill plans to make. But there are a couple of critical options you must choose between – namely, do you want a seven-speed twin-clutch gearbox, or a six-speed manual? A 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six related to the 911K’s screaming engine that develops around 500bhp? Or a twin-turbo version that kicks out more than 600bhp? Tuthill says the GT One was born out of a chat between company boss Richard Tuthill and one of his clients, Elliot Ross. What would a modern-day GT1 car look and drive like? Can it still be pretty while incorporating FIA-spec crash-worthiness and road legal measures? Apparently so. Very much so. FIRST LOOK: Lamborghini Temerario – 907bhp, Turbo V8 Hybrid, 10,000rpm!
The arrival of the new Temerario – a replacement for the Huracán – now means Lamborghini offers all its models with hybrid powertrains. Hmmm… But fret not, for this is Lambo’s take on hybridisation. So, while the Huracán's naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 has been swapped for a mere 4.0-litre V8, it has gained twin turbos and over 150bhp in the process. And, just for good measure, Lamborghini has allied it to not one, not two, but three electric motors, for a 907bhp total. That, and compared to the now-defunct V10, the forced-induction V8 revs higher. To the tune of 10,000rpm! Still want that six-cylinder McLaren Artura or Ferrari 296 GTB? FIRST DRIVE: Porsche 914 Restomod – £350k, 400bhp, Manual Gearbox!
This is a 914 as you’ve never seen it before, as Porsche and VW’s original entry-level model has had a very-not-entry-level upgrade. The huge overhaul comes courtesy of Fifteen Eleven Design, an offshoot of Mellors Elliot Motorsport, a UK motorsport firm better known for prepping and building top-level rally cars. Underpowered and not enormously successful in its day, this 914 has been treated to a host of more modern Porsche mechanical bits, including a flat-six engine that puts out around 400bhp. Add in a bespoke carbonfibre body, and performance is somewhat of a step on from the original! Full Build: From Rusted Out 1961 Chevy Impala to Revved Up Red Sled
We stumbled upon an old, rusting '61 Impala that had been neglected for years and decided to take on the massive project of transforming it into a stunning custom car we named "Red Sled." This journey was not for the faint-hearted as it included stripping down the entire vehicle, reinforcing the corroded frame, and giving it a modern air ride suspension. We dove deep into patching up the body with new floor pans, widened tubs, and countless hours of bodywork to ensure the Impala's transformation was spot-on. The shiny red paint job, custom faux chrome emblems, and a sleek new interior by M&M Hot Rod Interiors were the cherries on top. The heart of this beauty is a high-octane 409ci V8 engine paired with a four-speed transmission, making it hard to resist hitting the road. After such an extensive rebuild, the thrill of driving Red Sled was more than rewarding. The car, once left to waste away in a field, now turns heads and sparks envy, epitomizing a perfect blend of classic style and modern enhancements.

Driving The Mk1 Ford Focus WRC and RS: Two Rally and Road Legends | Henry Catchpole #TheDriversSeat
Colin McRae and Nicky Grist on the St Gwynno stage of Rally GB 2001 provided one of the most brilliant pieces of onboard driving footage ever. And in the latest Hagerty film Henry Catchpole gets an idea of what it’s like to drive a Mk1 Ford Focus WRC. We also dig into the history of that car's development (which includes a name now more associated with F1) and unearth its links to the Mk1 Ford Focus RS road car. We haven’t done things by halves either, taking the WRC car to a proper, narrow, bumpy tarmac rally test stage in mid-Wales to drive it hard. It’s a real test for this particular car, V10FMC which is currently owned by Girardo & Co. However, it’s a car that’s familiar with tricky asphalt as it took second place on the 2001 Monte Carlo rally with Carlos Sainz and Luis Moya onboard. The road car that we have lined up for this film is no less special either, as it is Ford Focus RS number 0001 - straight out of the Ford heritage fleet. The roads we chose to revisit with this RS were in North Wales and the reason for going there was one man - Richard Parry Jones. These were his local roads and if you’re not familiar with his name, well, he was the reason that family hatchbacks began driving much better around the turn of the millennium.
